BARC reader Lou Schultz with his MG TF 1500. Brother Ray on the fence and Dad, Lou Sr in front of the car
The Schultz TF sits in its assigned paddock spot with all the assorted boxes of “stuff” a jerry can of fuel and lawn chairs to relax. A Porsche RSK and Lola are behind.
Not a great shot, but a view of what the start at Vineland was like. This photo is taken from the pit entrance which was far down the track from the start/finish line. Lou Schultz TF in back waiting to pounce.
A grand battle as the cars come off the back straight then up and over the oval. Ed Dudley’s MGA twincam and T. Tomita’s Healey go side by side with a pack of cars following.
Doc Wyllie’s Lola MkI. I have no doubt of that, except I never saw Doc drive with goggles. BARC reader Phillip Schwehm remembers it was Peg Wyllie, Doc's wife, who was quite an excellent racer.
Charlie Haye’s ‘58 Ferrari Testa Rossa leads the Cooper-Porsche of Bill Howe and Bill Wonder’s Porsche 550
A look from the grandstands at the dusty, sandy infield. a couple formula cars are negotiating the infield section while two others are stranded off the track.
Often grouped together were HP and sedans. In this photo two bug eye Sprites fight each other with a SAAB and a VW chasing.
Coming around the oval and headed towards the finish line and the dragstrip straight, a Vette leads the Boano bodied Ferrari of Frank Adams.
Bruce Jennings Porsche Carrera and a Corvette are sitting on the start grid waiting to take their places.
The start of an EP race. Full of Elva Couriers and Porsche’s with a lone DB getting away. The road races used the same stage area and start as the drag races. It was pretty cool.
Ed Astri’s #555 Alfa chases the Healey of Dave Pullman. The black Healey of John Brezzano takes the inside line.
We can’t find an entry or results page to identify these cars. But for fun - let’s say it is Jay Signore leading Peter Revson. It’s either early or late in the year. Not a leaf in sight.
Another shot from the same position. The MGA’s being pursued by a Porsche #175. The white MG’s driver is wearing a bubble shied and those cheeks look like Donohue, but no proof.
The false grid for EP. Daimler SP250, MGA twincam, Alfa Veloce’s and Healey’s made for a great selection of cars.

I can’t make out the numbers on the two Vette’s but a Porsche Carrera is pushing them hard.
