The Florida Governor, Haydon Burns, opens the ceremonies with longtime announcer Ross Stone in his “raceday” sports coat.
 The winner.  Ford X-1 Roadster driven by Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby.  This was Miles 2nd win of the year, after Daytona, and setup the Ford Vs Ferrari LeMans finish robbing Miles of winning all 3 in the same year.
 The #2 Shelby GT-40 MKII.  Shelby looks confident standing at the rear.  This car was his lead machine driven by Dan Gurney and Jerry Grant.
 Ford had many GT teams fighting each other.  This is Ronnie Bucknum in a Holman-Moody MKII car  A J Foyt co drove, the car had troubles and was 12th
 Peter Sutcliffe’s original GT-40 that he co drove with Innes Ireland.  The car was a dnf.
 Another Ford team from the UK was Alan Mann.  The Mann team brought the MkII as well as Escorts for the 4 hour race.  Sadly, the car failed, but here at the start one crew member is smiling and happy.
  The #24 had a stellar team of Graham Hill & Jackie Stewart.  This photo is from a practice run with Jackie describing his thoughts on the car.
 Alan Mann’s second Ford, #25,  was for John Whitmore and Frank Gardner.  They lasted only 4 laps more than #24.  In this photo take a look at the Sky Cable spectators could ride along the front straight.
 The new and fast Ferrari 330 P3 was Enzo’s response to the MkII Ford GT.  Bob Bondurant chats with Mauro Forghieri while a Dunlop technician looks at the RF.

 Lorenzo Bandini looks at his 2 liter Ferrari 206 S he co drove with Ludovico Scarfiotti to 5th place and first Ferrari.
 Beautiful Ferrari 250LM of Arthur Swanson and Robert Ennis made 70 laps.
 The Otto Zipper Porsche 906 driven by Scooter Patrick and Don Wester ended up smashed badly in a late accident with Mario Andretti’s Ferrari.
 Jo Siffert sits and advises a mechanic who is adjusting a mirror on the Swiss Porsche 906. Siffert & Charles Vögele would finish 6th just behind the Bandini Ferrari.
 Beautiful #12 Chaparral 2D for Phil Hill and Jo Bonnier.  At Sebring the car did not last long.
 Handsome Jo Bonnier lifts the door of his Chaparral.  The smallish 327 motor simply did not have the power to compete with the 427 Fords.  Both Chaparrals failed to finish.
 A custom rebodied Porsche 904 named BergSpyder. The car performed well driven by Charlie Kolb and Buck Fulp but never saw the checkered flag.
 A bit hazy and taken from afar, but it is Ken Miles in the winning GT-40 X-1 roadster.
 Walt Hansgen and Mark Donohue drove this Holman-Moody Ford MkII to 2nd overall
 Dan Gurney and Jerry Grant finished 2nd on the track but were disqualified because Dan pushed the car over the finish line. Had Gurney not pushed the car - he would have been 2nd based on laps finished.
 Lake Underwood and Ed Hugus drove this Porsche 906 to 8th overall.
 Dan Gurney  in the Shelby Ford MK II.  The car would not start with vapor lock, Gurney drove it to first only to have it break in the last moments of the race.

 This Porsche 906 driven by Gerhard Mitter and Gunther Klass fell out just before half way.
 Mike Parkes aboard the factory Ferrari 330 P3 he shared with Bob Bondurant.  The car was fast and ran in the top 3 until the late hours.
 Ludovico Scarfiotti raises his hand as he brings the Ferrari 206S into the pits on its way to 6th overall.
 Mario Andretti and Pedro Rodriguez drove this NART Ferrari 365 P2.  The poor Ferrari was tired having just finished the Daytona race.  Andretti was involved in a bad crash late in the race.
 One of two Canadian Comstock Racing Ford GT-40’s.  This one driven by Eppie Wietzes and Craig Fisher.
 Action at the start finish with the #8 Corvette driven by BARC member Don Yenko along with Dave Morgan and car owner Harold Whims being passed by the #17 Comstock racing GT-40
 An Elva Courier entered and driven by the infamous Fred Opert and Bill McKemie spent a lot of time on the hairpin sandbank, but got the car out to finish 25th
