Have a look at the differences 10 years can make in F1 racing. 1961 was the first year of the 1.5 liter rules for F1. Ferrari won easily and declined sending his cars to the US Grand Prix held, for the first time, at Watkins Glen. Ten years later the engines were bigger and only Jo Bonnier was left from the 1961 driver field. These shots were taken by we barcboy amateurs, many by Gordy Ruston. While not professional is quality, they certainly have the content and provide what you might have seen as a spectator at these events.
