We celebrate the year 1959
A year where the US went from 48 States to 50 to include Hawaii and Alaska. Fidel Castro came to power in Cuba, the Barbie Doll is on the market, the Mercury 7 Astronauts are announced, the Dali Lama is exiled, the St. Lawrence seaway opens linking the Great Lakes to the Atlantic, Billie Holiday dies, Ike is President and the Soviet Union and the US are at the start of the Space Race. BUT for the BARCBOYS it was a year full of fabulous racing up and down the coast. Enjoy what racing looked like long ago. We start with 3 SCCA race weekends
