1960 was a fabulous year for racing and the BARC team.  Sherm Decker & Ted Rounds drove their
twincams to 1st & 4th in EP, Charlie Kurtz wins DP, Rip Ripley 5th in GM, Harry Reynolds

Marlboro was the site of the first SCCA President's cup races, which were initially awarded by
President Eisenhower, had great 4 and 12 hour races and even held Trans-Am's in '66 & '67.  Summit
Point came along in the late '60's and slowly the racers moved west to that permanent site.
