Allan Connell stayed in front of Hansgen at the start and finished a strong second Walt creeps closer to Connell before
the inevitable pass for the lead

Walt Hansgen was the master of The Bridge.  He won or broke  Hansgen, calm, focused and
always fast.  His protégé Mark Donohue shared those traits
